Linz boosts Braga strike force.

UEFA Cup contenders SC Braga have completed the signing of Boavista FC and Austria striker Roland Linz.

Boavista success

The 26-year-old has agreed a three-year deal with Jorge Costa's side after impressing with ten goals in 28 Portuguese Liga matches last season. Linz had spells in Germany, Austria and France before joining Boavista from FK Austria Wien in summer 2006. The striker has also scored five goals in 25 international appearances and is currently on duty with the national team as the UEFA EURO 2008TM co-hosts prepare for Wednesday's friendly against the Czech Republic.
